Why I Started PGM
I created PGM after thinking about the things I wished I’d said to someone who passed unexpectedly. It made me realize just how important it is to leave nothing unsaid — and how little exists to help us do that.
I went to the lawyer who had prepared my will just months earlier and asked him to send handwritten, private messages to a dear friend and a former business colleague after my passing. He said he could do it, but it would cost over $600 per message — and all he could do was hold it until I passed and then put the messages in the mail. That was it. No checking to see if my friend or colleague had not passed. No ensuring they wanted to even receive the letter, people and circumstances change. Just envelopes and a hefty invoice.
I knew there had to be a better way — something discreet, respectful, and built for this exact purpose.
I hope PGM brings peace to you with those you care about.
